My first time seeing spinx cat. Not what i expected! ,
All this time i thought i wouldn鈥檛 like spinx cat. I said they look like raw chicken. I just met 3 spinx at a cat cafe. I touched them and God they鈥檙e so soft 馃槶 i never felt anything like it, it鈥檚 like a baby skin. They鈥檙e very classy and gentle i can鈥檛 explain. I regret every single thing i thought of them before. I鈥檓 in love 馃槶馃挄鉂わ笍鈾ワ笍

They’re fabulous cats. I think they feel like a chamois cloth. Love how this one looks like he’s at the bar waiting for his 4th beer <3

The Sphynx’s soft skin and affectionate personality really makes you want to hold it like a little baby.

There is a common saying that once you have (or meet) a sphynx, anything else is just a cat.
I never knew cats could be so different until I got my two boy sphynx kittens. So social, so loving and such expressive emotional faces that you can actually understand. Cat 2.0. Sometimes you almost swear they’re little people in cat bodies.

Same. My daughter wanted one for several years before I gave in. Needless to say, I fell in love with the breed and then had to get my own!
Glad you had a chance to meet one! They are very affectionate and extroverted compared to most cats. They also get cold easily so they want to be snuggled all the time.
On the other hand they have absurdly high metabolisms so when they eat they have zoomies on steroids.
Either way I love our little nutcase.
Their personalities can vary. I have some that are very docile and cuddly, and then I have others who are absolute maniacs (mostly in a good and amusing way.) Either way, they’re the best and they’ve stolen the entirety of my heart forever.
I can totally relate. Unfortunately I haven’t touched a Sphynx yet but I felt the same way first and thought they are cute but somehow weird. Then I somehow got into this and other Sphynx Subs/Groups on social Media, learned a lot about their personalities and now I adore them 馃槏 Even if I can’t have pets myself, I still hope that I can see one in RL once.

I was raised with dogs as pets and never thought I would ever be a CAT LADY until we recently got a sphynx and GUESS WHAT?? His wrinkly snuggly self has me in 馃挋馃挋馃挋
Yep. I鈥檓 not sure why people would think that a whole community of sphynx lovers just really love the texture of chicken skin. 馃槀I鈥檓 glad that you had your first IRL encounter, and that you were converted.
