I made vegan conchas from scratch for Dia de Muertos! You can be vegan and still enjoy authentic cuisine ☼

As a Mexi-vegan myself this makes me very happy. You got a recipe for those conchas? Also your whole dizfraz is dope!

Mexi-vegan here too. We took our kid’s best friend to a vegan restaurant pre-COVID and had some amazing pumpkin-filled conchas. Despite being a picky eater and iffy about the vegan stuff, he said it was the best concha he’s ever had. I want that recipe (and I want yours too).

I bought conchas from a vegan restaurant in Dallas when I was living with my parents, I left them in the kitchen and my dad ate them 😭. Dallas is an hour away from their house so I couldn’t go back that day

I’m Central American but I always enjoyed these. I also always wanted to celebrate Día De Los Muertos but my family thought it was satanic

Oh my gosh yum! I haven’t tried making my own conchas yet. We did buy some vegan pan de muerto to put on our ofrenda though. 🙂
