[Homemade] Pan Dulce/Conchas
The colors are rad!
Recipe please? 馃檪
I gotta ask and I don’t care if you pm me or reply here but I really like conchas a lot. Like growing up I ate them and I had an aunt who made me huge ones to eat. I tried making them, but how exactly did you get the spots (the color sugar thing) to sit there. Mine always come out like sucked into the bread itself and not like that.
These look amazing! Way better than from the store. Does anyone have a recipe I could try out?
I’ve had these before. They’re delicious with coffee and crema. Would you happen to have a recipe you could share?
What amazes me is no matter where you buy these, they are always the same texture and taste. How do they do that? I’ve been to bakeries in many states in the US and in Mexico – same thing!

OMG! These look so cute <3 how did you make the color?
I thought these were bath bombs at first glance 馃槀
Love these things with coffee. Kinda looked like those baby toys at first
Daaayyyuuummm!!! Thats wuss up!!! 馃い馃い馃い馃い idk why i never thought of making homemade pan dulce…

There鈥檚 something about conchas that鈥檚 so nostalgic to me. Been eating it since I was a kid. I have fond memories of going to the bakery with my mom and buying pan dulce. I remember going over to my grandmas house and there would always be a bag of pan dulce on the kitchen table.
Anyway, these looks so good and I love the color choice. 鉂わ笍
As a Mexican myself
Approved 鉁旓笍
What even are those? I apologise for me being an uncultured American.
The pink ones are always the best ones!
Beautiful! My brother who passed away almost five years age loved these . I do too. Now I want to down to are local Mexican bakery and buy some. This bakery also makes the best tamales in our area. I just love California. We鈥檙e making enchiladas (chicken) later today. We just took the roast chicken out of the oven. You are very talented baker.馃尀
Melon Pan for Japanese
the opposite of forbidden snacks because at first I thought they were bath bombs, hah
Living in Mexico for two years, I ate these probably a hundred times. They were delicious exactly three times and otherwise terrible. I don’t know if they were mostly stale or what, but damn…
Looks great. You went extra thick with the topping! For everyone saying they are dry, that’s if they after not fresh. Straight out of the oven they are moist and heavenly.
Mexican pastries is a thing to admire. The sweets section in any random superama would beat many cake shops where I live in quality and variety.
Forbidden bath bombs
Dude these look amazing! I love the stylization of the sugar shell…bet it’s great with kids since it’s pretty and tasty
Hmm yes, kinetic sand. My favourite.
This reminds me of d铆a de los muertos in Mexico, pan dulce is so good! Either way, I want to eat it!
Scrolling the pages i thought it was bright coloured volley balls , this is so cool!
I could eat 5 of those right now, they look so good! I love the colors. Great job!!!
