  1. Dude seems like a down to earth person.

No one likes paying taxes but the people in Minnesota at least know that school children are fed and the most impoverished citizens get free community college. That is why people are so upset, we don’t know (or do know) that the money is being wasted on.

We need common sense governing, actual governing.

  2. As a fellow Minnesota resident, I’m super excited that Walz has joined the ticket!

Walz is an incredible guy and has done so much for the state. He’s got great energy and really connects with the people.

Looking forward to seeing their run at it and hoping beyond hope for the best!

  3. Aaaah the Voice! The Voice of Reason, and Common Sense, at last… I’m not american, but I can almost hear the sigh of relief from across the pond. I wish this to happen for you so much! Good luck, and go vote!

  4. I had my preconceptions about who would make a good VP pick, and this guy wasn’t on my radar. What I’ve seen read and heard about him in the last 24h makes me very happy he’s been tapped for this role.

  5. It’s important to remember why this guy even got into politics. He took his HS government class to a George W Bush rally during the 2004 election. He just wanted them to experience what a political rally looked like, it had nothing to do with political ideology. When they went to go in, a staff member saw one of Walz’s students was wearing a John Kerry badge, and they refused to let Walz or any of his students enter. Dude was so upset he decided to actually volunteer for Kerry’s campaign and run for Congress in 2006, being an incumbent Republican by 6 points in his conservative district.

  6. I’m not American and haven’t seen this guy before. But as a European I must say that I’m very happy to see an American politician that seems genuine and like a good guy. I hope he is and will have success. Wishing you the best.
