Concha Bullosa removal ,
Has anyone had a concha bullosa removed? I did during my septoplasty and i had this hard scratchy skin that was mucus colored in the area it was. I got it loose and there was a lot of blood but it wasn't connected to any nerves. A peice broke off and it was like bone but brittle and see through. There was a lot of loose mucus stuck behind it and the blood seemed to just have been stuck too because once I blew my nose the bleeding stopped entirely. Now this big shard of sorts is stuck in the middle of my nose but I can breathe better now. Any clue as to what it could be? I've dealt with plenty of scabs and that was not it. I thought maybe stuck packing or a callus?

I had concha bullosa resection as part of my surgery and my doctor didn’t use packing or stents. I had a few big blood clots that came out after rinses over the first 5 days but didn’t experience what you are describing.
