  1. I found out about it when I saw the K-on movie on steamdb a while ago

I immediately wanted to buy it just for the hell of it but it was no available anymore at all (or just in my country idk)

same with other Anime and stuff I looked up 🙁

  2. I remember when I went to check if the Saw video game was on Steam. I got excited thinking that it was. It was the movie, which I already had on DVD and bluray.

I much prefer the other video content they got.

Oats Studio with their short videos was incredibly amazing. I believe if you paid for a DLC for Oats Studios, you got to keep higher definition of the videos as well as some 3D-printable assets.

  3. There was a period of time where I was getting anime movies popping up in my Steam suggestions a long time ago, that’s how I learned about it. Steam also has software and other utilities, not just games. But I don’t really like buying these other things from them.

  4. Interesting. I would have probably used this feature if I actually knew it existed.

Steam is reliable for games so I would expect it to be reliable for movies too.

Although I guess the one downside is you’d have to have a way of getting it to your home entertainment system if you had one.

  5.

Having trouble comprehending why anyone would want to buy movies? To be fair I did this back in the VHS days and into DVD days, now have a collection of movies I have never watched again? Very few movies have a watched twice. Hmm, maybe Maybe Monty Python satire I can watch again, but not to own them?

  6. Here’s a [list of 338 movies](https://steamdb.info/search/?a=app_keynames&keyname=23&operator=3&keyvalue=Lionsgate) published by Lionsgate. The most recent one (The Cabin in the Woods) was added just 18 days ago.

Unfortunately I can’t see any of these in store because “This item is currently unavailable in your region”

Seems to be mostly Lionsgate and Devolver Digital Films but [here are more](https://steamdb.info/search/?a=app_keynames&type=13&keyname=23&operator=3&keyvalue=).

  7. I bought Indie Game – The Movie on there when it first came out eons ago, watched it once, forgot it existed, didn’t ever hear or realize there were other movies available. Whoops!
