  1. Lots of teen girls won’t go to school on their periods because they don’t have access to tampons, and their families can’t afford them. Making them available for free is a very good thing.

  2. Conservatives: we have to protect REAL women!

Also conservatives: free tampons?? You think we’re made of money here?? Get toxic shock syndrome like the rest of us, princess!

  3. The more I learn about Tim Walz the more I am convinced he is an absolute GEM of a human being. The right thinks this is an insult because they hate women. What I see is a good man doing good things.

  4. I’m not sure if this is really an insult though. There’s a guy in India called ‘pad man’ because he revolutionized low cost sanitary pads in rural India and fostered a conversation on an otherwise taboo topic. Tim Walz should wear this as a badge of honor if anything.

  5. How horrible! That and his bullshit about feeding hungry school children should automatically disqualify him! What kind of miserable, mean-spirited, angry, vengeful Christian are we talking about here?!

  6. I am a health teacher and I can promise that if teenage girls can have access to menstrual products, it will help them greatly. In fact some girls end up staying home because they do not have access to products which causes confidence problems at school.

  7. Wow, an old man mandating free supply of sanitary goods so that teenage girls would benefit and a woman who is also a mom(probably has a daughter too) is making fun of him for it. How is this even logical now? Who is she fighting for, who is she fighting against?

  8. Wait… is this supposed to be viewed as a bad thing? I’m a 40 year old dude and think supporting girls through the provision of free menstrual products in schools is a perfectly okay thing for my taxpayer dollars to be spent on.

  9. I work at an Amazon warehouse where tampons and maxi-pads are provided in bulk, free of charge along with water bottles as well.

Let that sink in for a moment. Greedy Amazon of all companies provides these for free to their workers rather than charge them, but it’s outrageous to provide the same to kids in public schools? The kids can have free tampons and pads, even if it costs me a slightly higher tax and even if it somehow meant me losing access to the same thing.
